When visiting the World Exhibition Expo Dubai 2020 as part of his working visit to Dubai, President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov visited the pavilion of Turkmenistan, the Press Service of the President of the Republic of Tatarstan reports.
Here, after watching a 3D film, visitors can review nature, history, culture, traditions, as well as promising projects of the country. During the visit of the pavilion, Rustam Minnikhanov appreciated the national costumes and the world-famous Turkmen carpets.
The first pavilion visited by Rustam Minnikhanov was an exposition dedicated to the history of the World Exhibition. The President of Tatarstan was told of the distinctive features of previous exhibitions, the first of which was held in 1851 in London. Expo Dubai 2020 became the first World Exhibition in the Middle East with a maximum number of participants - 192 states.
After that, the Head of Tatarstan visited the thematic zone "Mobility", where a 330-meter semi-underground semi-open highway is presented that allows visitors seeing advanced mobile devices in action.
Rustam Minnikhanov also visited the second largest pavilion after the UAE — the pavilion of Saudi Arabia, where he left an entry in the book of honored guests.
