Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and All Russia has sent congratulations to Serdar Berdimuhamedov on his elections to the post of the President of Turkmenistan, website patriarchia.ru informs.
“You have devoted your efforts and capabilities for the good Turkmen people. During your work in various important positions, you have gained considerable experience, which, I am sure, will help you in the new field of public service,” the message says.
The Patriarch expressed the hope for the growth of cooperation of the authorities of Turkmenistan with the Patriarchal Deanery of the parishes of the Russian Orthodox Church in the country “for the sake of approval in life of the enduring ideals of peace, goodness and justice in the lives of contemporaries”.
Concluding the message, the Patriarch wished Serdar Berdimuhamedov good health and generous help beyond in coming efforts on responsible presidential post.
We remind that on the 12th of March in Turkmenistan the early presidential elections were held, on where Serdar Berdimuhamedov was elected as the President of the country.
