Turkmen leader Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov sent a telegram to Emperor Naruhito of Japan on the occasion of his birthday. This is reported in today's issue of the newspaper "Neutral Turkmenistan".
In his message, Berdimuhamedov expressed confidence that the Turkmen-Japanese relations will continue developing for the benefit of the two peoples, the message reads.
The Turkmen leader wished Naruhito "good health, happiness and prosperity."
Naruhito is the 126th Emperor of Japan, the eldest son of Emperor Akihito. Today he turned 62 years old. Naruhito ascended the throne at the age of 59 after his father's abdication. The birthday of the Emperor of Japan is an official public holiday in the country. On this day, everyone can come to the territory of the Imperial Palace for the second time in a year (except for the New Year) and congratulate the Emperor.
