Production of the world's first hydrogen-powered flying boat starts in Dubai. The corresponding agreement was signed by the Swiss startup THE JET ZeroEmission and the UAE companies Zenith Marine Services LLC and DWYN LLC, reports the edition russianemirates.com.
THE JET will fly silently over the water at a height of 80cm and cruising at up to 40 knots. The innovative design vessel, designed for 8/12 passengers, will be equipped with two engines and air conditioning. The presentation of the world's first flying boat will take place in November 2023 as part of the 28th International Climate Summit (COP28 UAE).
10 million euros were allocated for the development and creation of the THE JET project.
