Yagshimuradov told why he did not prolong the contract with ACA

Turkmen martial arts master in mixed martial arts, former ACA light heavyweight champion Dovletjan Yagshimuradov named the amount, which he receives now for performances in Bellator.

According to Karate, it was the more attractive Bellator contract that tempted Dovletjan Yagshimuradov to the Bellator promotion.

“The fees are very good. I have openly written, that at the moment 70 thousand dollars. What is there to hide? It was written openly on the Internet. If ASA paid more, it is also possible to stay,” Yagshimuradov told the MMATIKA channel.

Dovletjan Yagshimuradov became the champion in the ACB organization and retained the title after the formation of the ACA league.

In December 2020, Dovletjan Yagshimuradov received a contract with the Bellator promotion. The athlete became the first Bellator fighter from Turkmenistan. Dovletjan Yagshimuradov held both of his fights in Bellator in 2021.

In the spring, he made his promotional debut against Corey Anderson in the quarter-finals of the Bellator Light Heavyweight Grand Prix. Anderson won the fight via knockout in the 3rd round.

In October, Dovletjan Yagshimuradov lost by unanimous decision to Swede Karl Albrektsson. The defeat was the second for the fighter in Bellator and the seventh in his professional career. Yagshimuradov also has 18 wins and 1 draw on his account. As it became known, the 32 years old Turkmen fighter earned 70 thousand dollars for the fight against Albrektsson. The enemy received 50 thousand dollars.
