President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov ordered to send an official delegation headed by Serdar Berdimuhamedov to Uzbekistan for negotiations on political and economic issues. This was reported by the information program “Vatan” of the Turkmen television.
According to the Order of the head of state signed today at the government meeting, the delegation is sent on a business trip to Tashkent “to discuss issues related to key areas of trade, economic and political-diplomatic relations between Turkmenistan and the Republic of Uzbekistan, as well as to hold working meetings and negotiations”.
The President of Turkmenistan “sent the signed document to the Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Foreign Affairs via the digital system, emphasizing the importance of successfully solving all the tasks set,” the message says.
The dates and specific issues to be discussed during the visit of the Turkmen delegation to Uzbekistan are not specified in the message.
