The transfer center, which operates on the basis of the Technology Center of the Academy of Sciences of Turkmenistan, is for the first time in the country creating a data bank of all author's inventions of the country for their introduction into business incubators with the involvement of venture capital, the publication "Turkmenistan: Golden Age" reports.
The transfer center works in the field of attracting foreign investment in highly profitable and highly scarce industries, such as fish meal production, machine-tool building, automotive industry, production of woolen yarn and catgut, and others.
One of the actual directions of the center is the implementation of innovative projects in start-ups, small and medium-sized businesses.
As the specialists of the center explain:
- In business incubators for young entrepreneurs, we place particular emphasis on issues related to the textile industry and improving the quality of yarn. We also plan to develop projects for start-ups and business incubators for the production of “gaprin”, a high-protein feed for livestock.
The transfer center was established several years ago to promote the development of country production and the inculcation of foreign leading technologies. One of its purposes is valuing the possibility of commercializing the results of scientific work with high potential for business, creating intellectual property attracting financial resources to identify and commercializing intellectual property creating start-ups, combining science and production in the country through business incubators, notes the source.
