Serdar Berdimuhamedov will visit Uzbekistan

A delegation of Turkmenistan headed by Deputy Prime Minister Serdar Berdimuhamedov in charge of economic issues will visit Tashkent in the near future. The upcoming visit, during which it is planned to hold meetings on expanding Turkmen-Uzbek cooperation in the economic sphere, was discussed today by telephone by the Ministers of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan Rashid Meredov and Abdulaziz Kamilov.

According to the press service of the Turkmen Foreign Ministry, during the conversation the current state and prospects of the comprehensive development of the Turkmen-Uzbek strategic cooperation were also discussed.

Particular attention is paid to the implementation of the agreements, reached earlier between the heads of the two states.

Let us remind you that, the government delegation of Turkmenistan consisting of Serdar Berdimuhamedov and the Deputy Prime Minister, the Minister of Foreign Affairs Rashid Meredov paid a visit to Iran, discussing with the President of Islamic Republic of Iran, Ebrahim Raisi and other officials of the neighboring country, issues of expanding cooperation.
