Russian Ambassador Alexander Blohin praised the results of the current year in the history of relations between Turkmenistan and Russia at a briefing held today in Ashgabat.
“For 10 months, the trade turnover amounted to 728, well, almost 729 million dollars. Exports from Russia - $ 621 million, imports from Turkmenistan - $ 107 million. The trade turnover increased by 8.1 percent. And this is a good indicator, given that the pandemic is bringing its own negative,” Blohin said, citing the figures for trade without taking into account gas trade.
According to the head of the diplomatic mission, machinery, equipment and vehicles constituted the bulk of Russia's exports to Turkmenistan. In total, more than 50 percent of Russian imports to Turkmenistan are chemical products, metals, etc.
