1. The UN General Assembly adopted a resolution on the "Permanent Neutrality of Turkmenistan". The document was adopted by consensus during the 61st plenary meeting of the 79th session of the UN General Assembly under the agenda item "Peacebuilding and peacekeeping". The resolution was co-sponsored by 67 states. The resolution, in particular, recommends using the territories of neutral states for holding peace talks.

A U.S. delegation will attend the Third UN Conference on Landlocked Developing Countries, scheduled to be held in Turkmenistan in the second half of this year. “We look forward to working with you and sending a delegation to the big, beautiful, white city of Ashgabat to represent the United States at the Third United Nations Conference on Landlocked Developing Countries. 5. Turkmenistan is completing the process of accepting documents for admission of citizens of the country to higher education institutions in Romania for undergraduate and graduate programs. Documents will be accepted until March 27. The selection interview with candidates is scheduled for April 1-2. To be admitted, applicants must provide an extensive package of documents, including an application form, questionnaires, a reference from the last place of study or work, as well as original educational documents with certified translations into English, French or Romanian.

The President of Turkmenistan signed a Resolution authorizing the Ministry of Education to conclude contracts with Agzybirlik tilsimaty and Aýdyň gijeler for the purchase of more than 142 thousand Turkmen laptops. Computer equipment must be installed in educational institutions by August 1, 2025, and its technical maintenance is also provided. The presentation of computers to first-graders on behalf of the President has become a good tradition in Turkmenistan. Last year, more than 155 thousand children received computers.
