Ashgabat hosted the 2nd round of the intellectual competition “Young Messengers of Peacekeeping”

Ashgabat hosted the second round of the intellectual competition “Young Messengers of Peacekeeping”, which was attended by Turkmen schoolchildren from all over the country. The competition was organized by the School of Young Diplomats at the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan.

The second stage of the competition, dedicated to the topic “Diplomacy and diplomatic traditions of the Parthian and Hunnish states”, began at the State Museum of the State Cultural Center of Turkmenistan. This tour was attended by 8 young erudites, for whom a tour of the halls was organized, where archaeological finds from the excavations of the ancient city of Nisa are presented. Schoolchildren received assignments and answered questions directly next to the historical exhibits.

Then the competition continued in a white Turkmen yurt built in the courtyard of the educational building of the Institute of International Relations. The interior of the room was decorated in the Parthian style with old rhytons and paintings depicting the great city, which became the backdrop for a literary mini-performance with historical characters.

Upon completion of all tasks, the jury named the winners of the second round of the competition among young intellectuals. The title “Young Messenger of Peacekeeping” was given to Yhlas Hallyev, a 10th grade student at the Music School at the Turkmen National Conservatory named aftre Maya Kuliyeva, and Aynur Dovletyarova, a student of the 8th specialized school in the city of Kunyaurgench, Dashoguz velayat. They were presented with certificates, tablets from the manufacturer Aýdyň gijeler and other commemorative prizes.

The second round of the “Young Messengers of Peacekeeping” competition will be broadcast on national television on the “Miras” TV channel.
