On December 24, 2021, the next export flight of “Siberia” Airlines will be organized on the Turkmenabat-Moscow route. The corresponding announcement was posted on the Telegram channel of the Consular Section of the Russian Embassy in Turkmenistan.
This will be the 32nd export flight and the fourth in December 2021. On average, outbound flights depart from Turkmenistan twice a month. The previous flight was on December 17, more than one hundred and ninety people became its passengers.
Regular transport links between Turkmenistan and Russia were suspended in March last year due to the coronavirus pandemic.
Earlier, the Russian diplomatic mission informed that citizens of Turkmenistan, when entering Russia, must still have a certificate of absence of coronavirus with them. The requirement for the mandatory use of the mobile application "Traveling without COVID-19" when entering the Russian Federation will not apply to citizens of Turkmenistan until mid-January.
