In the village of Guychbirleshik of the Halach etrap of the Lebap velayat, the construction of a new carpet workshop with an area of 300 square meters is nearing completion, "Turkmenistan: Golden Age" reports.
About 100 craftswomen will work here, for whom all conditions for fruitful activity have been created: spacious, bright rooms equipped with air conditioning, heating and ventilation systems.
The workshop was built by the Mary enterprise for the primary processing of wool and the individual enterprise "Altyn gum" by order of the Halach enterprise of artistic carpet weaving.
The source notes that this year, within the framework of the program to expand and improve the production and technical base of the Turkmenhaly association and the integrated development of regions, three more new workshops have been opened for artistic carpet weaving enterprises: in the Ahal velayat at the Baharden enterprise of artistic carpet weaving, in the Gubadag etrap of the Dashoguz velayat , as well as in the city of Bayramali on the basis of the Mary enterprise of artistic carpet weaving.
