National Day of Turkmenistan at Expo 2020 will be celebrated on October 9

On October 9, the National Day of Turkmenistan will be celebrated with festive events throughout the Expo 2020 at the international specialized exhibition in Dubai.

Each of the 192 countries participating in Expo 2020 celebrates a National Day, Turkmenistan will be one of the first to celebrate its day.

Guests and delegates of the exhibition will be able to familiarize themselves in more detail with products of Turkmen production, domestic goods and souvenirs.

The pavilion of Turkmenistan is located in the “Mobility” zone. A sculptural composition of five Ahalteke horses is installed in front of the entrance to the pavilion. The pavilion building itself has the shape of a sail, and the ribbed reefs on it symbolize the dunes.

The theme of the Turkmen national pavilion: "Turkmenistan - the Motherland of Peace and Trust." The architect of the building of the pavilion of Turkmenistan is the “Tekmil” company.

As for the cost of admission for those wishing to visit the Expo 2020, one adult ticket will cost 27.43 US dollar. Admission is free for visitors under the age of 18 and for people with special needs.

The exhibition in Dubai will last six months, until the end of March 2022. The exhibition is open seven days a week - from 10:00 to 24:00 from Saturday to Wednesday, and from 10:00 to 14:00 on Thursday and Friday.

Expo is the most famous exhibition in the world. It takes place every five years in different countries; the venue is determined each time by a vote of the General Assembly of the International Exhibitions Bureau. The World's Fair was first held in London in 1851.
