The organization of production of special equipment in Turkmenistan, as well as other issues of development of cooperation were discussed today by President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov and General Director of “KAMAZ” PTC Sergey Kogogin, who arrived in our country as part of the delegation of Tatarstan to participate in the festive events.
As it is stated on the company's website, a list of special superstructures proposed for installation in Turkmenistan has been prepared, the possibility of assembling tank trucks for drinking and industrial water, fuel trucks, cars with TLC, garbage trucks, aerial platforms is being considered. The construction and commissioning of the assembly building based on the service center in Ashgabat is scheduled for the 4th quarter of 2022.
In addition, during the meeting, future supplies of a new batch of vehicles for various purposes, as well as the construction of “KAMAZ” auto centers in the velayats of Turkmenistan were discussed. So, at the end of October 2021, it is planned to open a service center in Turkmenbashi. By the end of 2021, the company plans to open a service center in Lebap, in Mary and Dashoguz in 2022.
It is also reported that during the period of cooperation, “KAMAZ” has supplied more than 11,000 KAMAZ vehicles to Turkmenistan, including 2,000 over the past three years. At the moment, the vehicles have been fully delivered, the supply of spare parts will be completed in October.
