The consulate of Turkmenistan in Aktau has begun to extend the passports of Turkmen citizens, the official website of the consular office reported.
In accordance with the Decree of the President of Turkmenistan No. 2300 dated July 1, 2021, the validity of passports of citizens of Turkmenistan for leaving Turkmenistan and entering Turkmenistan, which ended or expire between January 1, 2020 and December 30, 2022, was extended to 31 December 2022.
In this regard, citizens of Turkmenistan should contact the Consulate of Turkmenistan in the Republic of Kazakhstan (Aktau city, Mangistau region) from 09:00 to 13:00 local time.
List of documents to mark the extension of the passport:
- Application of the established form.
- A copy of the first page of your foreign passport;
- 3x4 color photo
The foreign passport is renewed free of charge.
The consulate of Turkmenistan in Aktau is located at the Shygys-1 microdistrict, house 285.
The passport is also renewed at the Embassy of Turkmenistan in Nur-Sultan and at the Consular Section in Almaty.
