In Turkmenistan, a number of enterprises of ministries and hyakimliks will become private property. This was announced today at a meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers.
In this regard, proposals prepared in accordance with the provisions of the Civil Code of Turkmenistan and the Strategy for the Management and Reform of Enterprises with State Participation in Turkmenistan for 2021-2025 on the transfer of a number of enterprises under the jurisdiction of ministries and hyakimliks to representatives of the private sector were presented to the leader of the nation.
“Promotion of the format of public-private partnership with the aim of implementing various projects is one of the most important and urgent tasks today,” President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov said.
The trust management mechanism is defined as one of the main financial instruments in this process.
“The competent use of this tool will allow the state to save money, ensure the formation of a modern infrastructure of settlements, increase employment of the population, develop entrepreneurship and, at the same time, improve the quality of goods and services,” the leader of the nation emphasized.
Noting the importance of a thoughtful approach to solving the tasks set in this direction, the head of Turkmenistan addressed a number of specific instructions to vice-premier Gadyrgeldy Mushshikov, the State News Agency reported.
