Today, with the assistance of the Embassy of Turkmenistan in the Republic of Armenia, a meeting was held with the participation of the Chambers of Commerce and Industry of Turkmenistan and the Republic of Armenia, organized in the format of video conferencing, ArmInfo reports.
The Turkmen side was attended by the leadership of the Chamber of Commerce, representatives of the Ministry of Trade and Foreign Economic Relations, the Ministry of Textile Industry, the Ministry of Industry and Construction Production, members of the Union of Industrialists and entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan.
From the Armenian side, the meeting was attended by the heads of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, a representative of the Ministry of Economy, members of the Presidium of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Armenia and representatives of private companies.
The parties noted that the activation of partnership between the Chambers of Commerce and Industry of the two countries will be an important step in establishing close business ties between entrepreneurs.
After discussing cooperation issues, the participants identified priority areas of cooperation in the textile industry, construction industry, and agriculture. At the meeting, presentations were made on the areas of industries.
Following the meeting, the parties came to an agreement on joint cooperation to establish business ties between the business circles of the two countries, the source said.
