The urgent tasks of further socio-economic development of the country and other issues of the state's life were discussed today at a working meeting, which was held by President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov via videoconference.
The first was given to the hyakim of the Ahal velayat, Y. Gurbanov, who reported on the current state of affairs in the region, the maintenance of wheat crops, the preparation of land and agricultural machinery for the spring sowing campaign in accordance with the standards of agricultural technology. The hyakim also informed the leader of the nation about the activities of the relevant structures for the implementation of the National Rural Program.
As it was reported, in 2021, a greenhouse with a total area of 6 hectares will be commissioned in the Kaahki etrap, and textile complexes equipped in accordance with international standards in the Kaahki and Babadayhan etraps.
The Ashgabat-Tejen high-speed highway and the first stage of the complex of buildings of the new, modern administrative center of the Ahal velayat are also planned for commissioning.
Having listened to the report, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov noted the importance of strict control over water supply to the fields, improving the land reclamation condition, and preparing for spring sowing. As the leader of the nation stressed, special attention should be paid to the adoption of priority measures to ensure uninterrupted supply of the residents of the velayat with electricity, water and natural gas. In this regard, the hyakim was given appropriate instructions.
The head of state pointed out the need to keep under constant control the work at the facilities scheduled for commissioning in honor of the 30th anniversary of the independence of the Motherland. It is also necessary to comprehensively prepare for the development of a cultural program on the occasion of the glorious holiday, the President of the country said.
Then the Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Ch.Gylyjov, in charge of the Ahal velayat, reported on the results of the working trip to the etraps of the region, the state of affairs at the facilities, the commissioning of which is timed to the 30th anniversary of the independence of Turkmenistan.
Having listened to the report, the head of state emphasized the importance of keeping under strict control the construction of facilities on the territory of the velayat, ensuring their high quality and compliance with international standards.
At the same time, attention to the issues of social security of the region's residents should not be weakened, the leader of the nation said, giving in this regard a number of specific instructions to the Deputy Prime Minister and the Hyakim.
Then the hyakim of the Dashoguz velayat N. Nazarmyradov reported on the work carried out in the fields of the region, caring for winter wheat crops, and comprehensive preparation for spring agricultural activities. The hyakim also reported on the preparation for classes in the second half of the year in secondary schools of the region, the state of affairs at the facilities scheduled for commissioning by the 30th anniversary of Turkmenistan's independence.
In particular, information was sounded on the construction progress of the “Türkmeniň ak öýi” (“Turkmen white yurt”) for 3 thousand places for holding cultural events and premises for a sadaka for 3 thousand places. In addition, it was reported that in accordance with the planned plan, a multidisciplinary hospital for 450 beds, an oncological clinic for 150 beds and 15 residential buildings on Gorogly street are being built in Dashoguz.
After hearing the report, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov drew attention to the need, along with the ongoing field work, to actively prepare for spring agricultural campaigns. As the head of state pointed out, the sowing campaign should be organized, in the shortest possible time and with high quality.
The leader of the nation continued, great importance should be attached to the provision of the population of the velayat with electricity, drinking water, and natural gas. At a high level, it is necessary to prepare for the beginning of classes in the second half of the year in schools, the President of the country emphasized, instructing the hyakim to keep all these issues under unremitting control.
Speaking about the tasks for the implementation of the National Rural Program, the head of state focused on the importance of accelerating the pace of construction of facilities scheduled for commissioning to celebrate the 30th anniversary of independence, meeting the construction deadlines. The focus should also be on the preparation of a program of cultural events on the occasion of significant dates, summed up the leader of the nation.
Then the Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers G. Mushshikov, who is in charge of the Dashoguz velayat, was summoned for video communication. The Deputy Prime Minister reported on the results of the working trip to the northern region of the country, made on behalf of the head of state, including on the construction of facilities.
The Minister of Education reported on the ongoing preparations for classes in the second half of the year in the country's secondary schools, as well as on the ongoing winter examination session in universities.
It was noted that great importance in the winter period is attached to the functioning of heating systems in schools and other educational institutions. The issues of providing educational institutions with visual aids and textbooks are under constant control. At the same time, much attention is paid to improving the qualifications of teachers and teachers, improving the work of educational institutions.
Having listened to the report, the head of state emphasized the importance of the tasks set for the educational institutions of the country for the implementation of digital systems, the active development of the achievements of science and the latest technologies. It is necessary to take measures for the organized start of classes in the second half of the year, while special attention should be paid to the supply of schools with everything necessary, the

Then Deputy Prime Minister M. Geldinyyazov reported on the state of affairs in the structures supervised by him, including on the comprehensive reforms carried out under the leadership of the head of state in the field of education.
As noted, special importance is attached to creating the necessary conditions for improving the national education system, bringing its quality to the world level, as well as for scientific discoveries of young scientists.
Comprehensive work is being carried out to introduce a digital system, improve the level of education and qualifications of personnel.
Having listened to the report, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov noted that the educational institutions of the country face important tasks, including the introduction of advanced experience in the economy, activation of digital systems, training of highly qualified specialists for all sectors of the national economic complex.
In order to systematically reform the activities of educational institutions, they should actively introduce advanced experience and modern technologies, the leader of the nation said, giving the Deputy Prime Minister the appropriate instructions.
