On the off day, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, together with his grandson Kerim, went for a walk to the foothills of the Kopetdag. A crumb of snow fell from the sky, which covered everything around with a white blanket.

Having reached the southern outskirts of the capital with his grandson, the leader of the nation, out of the habit of the weekend, did sports exercises, and then they headed towards the cable car.

The surrounding landscape of these places is mesmerizing with its winter beauty, the white expanses make a majestic impression. Admiring the mountain landscapes, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov told his grandson a story about the mighty power of nature, its inexhaustible riches and the inseparable connection of man with it.

Listening to the stories of his grandfather, Kerim tried to capture the wonderful views of the foothills and the white marble capital. These photos will remain in good memory, because snow in Turkmenistan, and even so abundant, is a rather rare occurrence.

At the cable car station, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, together with his grandson, got into the cabin of the funicular and set off on an air journey over the hills, white waves rising up to the spurs of the Kopetdag. The smooth movement along the suspended cable takes your breath away from the rising height and the opening view of the foothills. Seizing the moment, Kerim takes pictures of the delightful winter landscapes with his camera.

After completing the air ride and getting off at the terminal station of the cable car, the head of state and his grandson from the top of the mountain surveyed the city spread out below, snow-covered hills and valleys. Indeed, after a few days, not a trace of snow may remain. Taking advantage of such a rare occasion, when there is enough snow to make a snowman, the President of Turkmenistan, together with his grandson, rolled balls and, having connected them, built a figure traditional for winter fun.

The grandson of the leader of the nation, Kerim, began to photograph a snowman in memory of this wonderful day spent in nature, among the snowy expanses. And the President of the country added finishing touches to the positive image of the snowman.

Upon completion of the walk through the snowy glades and hills of the foothills of the Kopetdag, all employees of the cable car were presented with New Year gifts on behalf of the President of Turkmenistan. This was a worthy appreciation of the work of people who create wonderful moments of joy for the townspeople, especially for children.
