A video meeting in the format of a "round table", held at the Institute of the Caspian Sea, was devoted to the prospects of cooperation between Turkmenistan and the International Ocean Institute (IOI), the state news Agency of Turkmenistan reports.
The forum was attended by the heads of the IOI and the Caspian Sea Institute, representatives of the Institute of international relations of the Ministry of foreign Affairs of the country, the Agency "Türkmendeńizderýaýollary" and others.
The main focus of the meeting was on issues related to the management of the Caspian Sea, in particular, the application of international Maritime conventions, applied aspects of international Maritime law and its study in the educational programs of higher educational institutions of Turkmenistan.
The study programs of the International Ocean Institute, its courses and opportunities for graduates to continue their professional training were also reviewed.
