Every year, the number of sports facilities equipped with advanced technologies is increasing in the country, and a modern specialized infrastructure is being formed.

In particular, thanks to the consistent efforts of the head of state, purposeful work is being carried out in our country to develop Cycling, which is included in the program of the Olympic games and is considered one of the most ecological sports.

The President of Turkmenistan has established a good and very useful tradition of holding mass bike rides in the country, bringing together thousands of Turkmen citizens and others. In addition to the fact that foreign diplomats and businessmen participate in these events in Ashgabat, the embassies of Turkmenistan in other countries also organize bike days, which attract residents of many cities of the world. So the world Bicycle day, established on the initiative of Turkmenistan by a special resolution of the UN General Assembly on June 3 – is an international holiday that opens up wide opportunities for sports as a messenger of peace and friendship.

Today, preparations are underway to organize the world track Cycling championship in Turkmenistan in 2021. In accordance with the Decree of the head of state, the composition of the organizing Committee of the competition was approved in order to ensure a high level of its conduct.
