Today, the founding meeting of the Association "Turkmen Alabai" was held in Ashgabat, the Ministry of foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan reports.
The meeting was attended online by leading experts and dog handlers from more than 10 countries. In total, the forum was attended by about 200 delegates.
On the agenda were issues related to the reorganization of the Association and the creation of the international Association "Turkmen Alabai" on its basis. This proposal was unanimously accepted by all participants.
The speakers noted that the acquisition of international status will contribute to the development of the best practices and traditions of the national school of dog breeding, the comprehensive application and development of advanced breeding methods, as well as modern achievements of world science in this field.
Within the framework of the event, the Charter of the organization was approved, 25 representatives of other countries were accepted as members of the Association. these are leading specialists and dog handlers from Armenia, Belarus, Georgia, Iran, China, Russia, Turkey, France, Uzbekistan and Ukraine.
The members of the Executive Committee and the Control and audit Commission of the international Association "Turkmen Alabai" were also approved. By a unanimous vote, the Association's representative Offices were established in the Akhal, Balkan, Dashoguz, Lebap and Mary velayats and their heads were appointed.
Minister of industry and construction of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov was unanimously elected Chairman of the Executive Committee of the international Association "Turkmen Alabai", and a private dog breeder, Annageldi Yazmyradov, was elected Deputy Chairman of the Executive Committee.
The event also included a presentation of President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov's book "Turkmen Alabai" in Arabic.
At the end of the event, the participants adopted an Address to the President of Turkmenistan.
Recall that the Association "Turkmen Alabai" was established on May 1, 2020 on the initiative of the President of Turkmenistan. The first meeting of the Association was held on May 7, during which the Association's emblem depicting Alabai was approved.
