AFC is considering moving the U16 and U19 Asian Championships to 2021
The Asian Football Confederation has informed the national football associations whose teams will participate in the Asian under-16 and under-19 Championships that they are considering moving the continental Championships to next year. This is reported by the press service of the football Federation of Tajikistan.
The Asian under-16 championships were to be held from November 25 to December 12 in Bahrain. The Asian Football Confederation is also considering hosting the Asian youth championship (U-19), which was to be held from October 14 to 31 in Uzbekistan, in 2021.
Decisions to move the Asian under-16 and under-19 Championships to next year must be ratified by the AFC Executive Committee, which will meet in September.
