President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov expressed extreme dissatisfaction with the Minister of agriculture and environmental protection of Turkmenistan Magtymguly Bayramdurdyev.
According to the state news Agency of Turkmenistan, during the workshop on digital video communication held today, the Turkmen leader noted the shortcomings in the implementation of the tasks of further development of agriculture, especially animal husbandry and, in particular, the organization of animal feed procurement.
The head of state demanded to approach these issues with special responsibility and take appropriate steps.
"The successful implementation of the measures stipulated in the documents to ensure food abundance, allocate land plots for growing forage crops and create a reserve forage base, increase the number of livestock are of particular importance in strengthening the potential of the agro – industrial complex," Berdimuhamedov said, addressing specific instructions to the Minister and the hyakims of the velayats in this regard.
