President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov today reprimanded Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Esenmyrat Orazgeldiev, who oversees the agro-industrial complex in the government, the information program "Watan" of the Turkmen television reported.
A strict reprimand was issued "for improper performance of official duties, weakening of control over the activities of subordinate ministries and sectoral departments with the latest warning to correct the shortcomings as soon as possible," the Decree of the President of Turkmenistan, signed at a Government meeting, reads.
The head of state ordered to pay unflagging attention to organizational issues related to the preparation of the cotton harvest, which must be carried out in the optimal time, ensuring the complete safety of the crop.
Emphasizing that ensuring food abundance is an important aspect of social policy, the President of Turkmenistan indicated that practical steps should be taken to increase the production of potatoes, other vegetable and melon products.
