During today's telephone conversation, President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov and king of Bahrain Hamad Bin Isa Al-Khalifa exchanged views on the state and prospects of the Turkmen-Bahraini dialogue.
Warmly congratulating each other on the upcoming “Gurban bayramy” holiday, the interlocutors discussed the further development of partnership between the two countries, specifying key vectors in the context of the agreements reached earlier and the prospects for expanding cooperation both in the trade and economic sphere and in the humanitarian and cultural sphere
As it was emphasized, today the Turkmen-Bahraini relations, initially built on the principles of equality and mutual respect, are actively developing across the entire spectrum.
During the conversation, the head of Turkmenistan and the King of Bahrain exchanged views on topical issues of regional and international issues. In this context, the topic of the spread of a new coronavirus, which covers a wide geographical area and has a negative impact on the lives of many States and peoples, was raised.
At the end of the conversation, the interlocutors once again exchanged their best wishes on the occasion of “Gurban bayramy”, addressing wishes of peace, good and prosperity to the fraternal peoples, the state news Agency of Turkmenistan reports.
