President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov created an Interdepartmental working group to develop a National strategy for the development of renewable energy and approved its composition. The corresponding Decree "to develop the system based on the National strategy for development of renewable energy, ensuring energy stability in the country," the head of state signed today at a meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers, told the news program "Watan" Turkmen television.
In accordance with the document, the Ministry of foreign Affairs is allowed to involve international organizations and other international structures in the development of the draft national strategy for the development of renewable energy in Turkmenistan in accordance with the established procedure.
