President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov will take part in the Victory parade in Moscow, Russian media reports, referring to the statement of the press Secretary of the President of Russia Dmitry Peskov.
The Kremlin spokesman said that the participation in the Victory parade in the Russian capital has already been confirmed by the leaders of a number of countries, including Kazakhstan, the Kyrgyz Republic, Moldova, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, Serbia, Croatia.
"So far, I can tell you about such confirmations. But a number of leaders have also received invitations, and we expect confirmation from them from day to day," Dmitry Peskov was quoted as saying by TASS.
Recall that the Victory parade in honor of the 75th anniversary of Victory in the great Patriotic war due to the spread of COVID-19 coronavirus infection was moved by Russian President Vladimir Putin from May 9 to June 24-the day when the historic victory Parade took place in 1945.
