Today, President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov held a working meeting with the participation of Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Shamuhammet Durdylyev and the mayor of Ashgabat Yaztagan Gylyjov before leaving for the Eastern region of the country at the capital's International airport.
The main topic of the meeting was the issues of further development of the Turkmen capital, the pace of work on the facilities dedicated to the opening on the occasion of the 25th anniversary of the Fatherland's neutrality. The head of state also touched upon the issue of providing comfortable recreation for residents and guests of the Turkmen capital, creating conditions for active and useful leisure of people in nature. One of these places is the lake located in the Northern part of Ashgabat, where many of the current old-timers liked to spend their free time.
In accordance with the instructions of the leader of the nation, it is planned to create a modern comfortable recreation area.
Recall that during a recent working trip to Ashgabat, the President of Turkmenistan visited this picturesque area, focusing on the amazing features and favorable environment of the local nature.
Underlining the expediency of creating a modern leisure infrastructure on the lake shore, designed to provide an interesting and useful pastime for citizens, including children, the head of state Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov noted that along with facilities that include the necessary range of services for vacationers, large entertainment complexes and water attractions should be built. This should take into account the environmental component.
Thus, in the near future, this area will become a favorite place of cultural recreation for residents and guests of the capital. At the same time, the implementation of the huge recreational potential of the nature of the native land will help to strengthen human health, stimulate physical activity.
Noting that following the established traditions of the current era to give new objects names that meet the spirit of the time, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov proposed to call the lake Golden - Altyn köl, the state news Agency of Turkmenistan reports.
