Turkmenistan participated in the videoconference of the chambers of Commerce and industry of the ECO member States

Today in a videoconference, an extraordinary meeting of representatives of trade-industrial chambers of the states-members of the chamber of commerce of the Economic Cooperation Organization (CCI ECO). 

Participants of the meeting were welcomed by the President of the CCI ECO Azarah Hafizi and the Secretary General of the organization Adem Kula.

The ECO is a regional international economic structure that includes Afghanistan, Turkmenistan, Azerbaijan, Iran, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Pakistan, Tajikistan, Turkey and Uzbekistan.

The main theme of this online meeting, where the Turkmen delegation was represented by Chairman of the chamber of Commerce of Dovletgeldi Rejepov, was the issues of business support in the current economic conditions caused by the pandemic COVID-19, and the CCI of the ECO countries.

The participants of the meeting were familiarized with the large-scale business development reforms being carried out in Turkmenistan, as well as discussed proposals and initiatives to further strengthen partnership relations between the Chambers of Commerce and Industry of the ECO member States and set the date of the next meeting, the state news Agency of Turkmenistan reports.
