Turkmenistan will award veterans, wives of participants of the great Patriotic war of 1941-1945 and home front workers with the jubilee medal in honor of the 75th anniversary of Victory. The corresponding Decree was signed today by President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov "On the occasion of the 75th anniversary of the Victory in the great Patriotic war of 1941-1945, in order to honor and glorify the unparalleled heroism of war veterans and wives of war veterans and labor veterans who worked in the rear during the war and also to commemorate the great Victory and, given the Protocol decision of the Council of heads of state of the Commonwealth of Independent States from September 28, 2018," told the news program "Watan" Turkmen television.
The document was approved by the head of state:
1) Regulations on awarding the jubilee medal “To the 75th anniversary of Victory in the great Patriotic war of 1941-1945”;
2) the commemorative medal “For the 75th anniversary of Victory in the great Patriotic war of 1941-1945”;
3) a Sample of the certificate of the jubilee medal “To the 75th anniversary of Victory in the great Patriotic war of 1941-1945”.
According to the Decree of the President of Turkmenistan signed today, commemorative medals "For the 75th anniversary of Victory in the great Patriotic war of 1941-1945", as well as valuable gifts to veterans-front-line soldiers, wives of war participants and labor veterans who worked in the rear will be awarded in Ashgabat and in the velayats of the country in a solemn atmosphere.
