At the summit of the Turkic Council, which was held via videoconference, the President of Turkmenistan thanked his colleagues, the presidents of Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan and Turkey, for their kind attitude and concern for the citizens of Turkmenistan currently in these countries.
President of Turkmenistan:
"Our main goal is to protect people's health and life. The humane attitude and universal support of those citizens who, due to the prevailing circumstances, remained outside their countries is of great importance.
As fraternal States United by a common history and high spiritual and social values, we must fully demonstrate them today.
I am confident that during this difficult period, we will be able to overcome the difficulties with dignity and honor, and further strengthen our cooperation and fraternal relations."
President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov assured that the same attitude has always been, is and will be shown to the citizens of these countries who are located on the territory of Turkmenistan, the state news Agency of Turkmenistan reports.
