The rating of the highest main Christmas trees in the capital cities of the Commonwealth of Independent States was made by the portal "Turstat".

According to the information, the Main Christmas tree of Turkmenistan is recognized as the highest among the Christmas trees of the capital cities of the CIS countries. Recall that the height of the Christmas tree, along with the star adorning its top — 40 meters. It is installed on the square in front of the Cultural and entertainment center "Alem" in Ashgabat. Beautiful Christmas tree, dressed in a luxurious outfit of thousands of sparkling balls and toys, topped with an octagonal star with the number "2020".

The second place is occupied by the main festive tree of Armenia-37 meters. In third place is the Christmas tree in Tashkent (Uzbekistan), its height is 36 meters. On the fourth — Azerbaijan, the height of the Christmas tree in Baku-34 meters. Fifth place — at the main tree of Belarus, which is 30 meters high, it is located on October square in Minsk.

This is followed by the main Christmas trees of Tajikistan — 29 meters, Russia — 27 meters, Kyrgyzstan — 27 meters and Kazakhstan — 25 meters. Closing the list is the main Christmas tree of the capital of Moldova, a new year's beauty in height — only 20 meters, it is installed on the square of the Grand national Assembly in Chisinau.

Note that the Main Christmas tree of Russia on the Cathedral square of the Kremlin in Moscow is the only living main Christmas tree in the capitals of the Commonwealth of Independent States. In the administrative center of the Krasnoyarsk territory, in the city of Krasnoyarsk, the highest Christmas tree in Russia and the CIS is installed — 55 meters high.
