The second round of the women's handball championship of Turkmenistan with the participation of teams from all provinces and Ashgabat started on the parquet floor of the capital's Galkynysh Sports Complex, Neutral Turkmenistan newspaper reports.
The tournament is organized by the Handball Federation of Turkmenistan and the Ministry of Sport and Youth Policy. The main intrigue of the tournament is the confrontation between the teams of Ashgabat and the Balkan province - the main contenders for gold medals.
Athletes of the seaside and the capital have for many years shared the championship in all competitions of the national level. However Jennet Dovranova, the chief judge of the competition states there has been a noticeable performance and skill enhancement is observed at other provincial schools of handball. Therefore, they will be challenged by Mary and Lebap handball players, trained respectively by Evgenia Patna and Menglihal Achilova.
