In Turkmenistan from 10.09.2019 to 10.10.2019 passes the qualifying stage of the competition for the best specialist in sushi preparation, at the moment there is an active set of participants.
A good sushi master not only knows how sushi differs from rolls but also understands the features of the products used, determines their quality, knows the national traditions of cooking and the original names of the ingredients.
The aim of this competition is to promote Japanese culture among the people of Turkmenistan, as well as to develop knowledge in the field of cooking national cuisine of Japan. This event will also be an incentive to improve the skills of chefs for other establishments in Ashgabat. Another of the main and key points of the competition is to improve the quality of food and service.
The idea of this event "Sushi Master" belongs to the online platform "Dostawka.bar", which are also the organizers of the competition. The initiative of the contest is due to the fact that in recent years on the territory of Turkmenistan more and more began to open places with Japanese cuisine, but how they meet the standards of Japanese cuisine – we did not think about it.
In the first round, there is a selection of participants by certification for sous-chef (certification allowance is issued to all participants of the competition). Next, the eight best participants are selected. On October 10, a manual for certification will be provided. 20 October will be conducted itself attestation.
In the second round, the main part of the competition will be held, where potential masters of Japanese cuisine will fight in the preparation of sushi, roll, sashimi, mosaic, speed set and roll from the chef. Contestants will have to demonstrate their skills in a specially designated area open to the public. The competition will compete for more than 8 participants in the total allotted time-about 2 hours.
The final event will be held on November 1, 2019, in Ashgabat, in the cafe "Barbaris".
