Today, on the eve of the return match of the 2019 AFC Cup Inter-zonal semi-final with the Vietnamese club Hanoi FC, which will be held on August 27 at the Kopetdag Stadium in Ashgabat, the press conference of head coach of FC Altyn Asyr Yazguly Hojageldiyev began with the question of the team’s readiness for the upcoming game.

– What is the readiness of FC Altyn Asyr before an important second leg with Hanoi FC? Are there injured footballers in the team?

– Readiness for the game is good. The first match, as you know, ended in the defeat of our team - 2:3. The coaching staff and I seen this game well, there were a lot of mistakes, including positional ones. There are no injured players, everyone is ready for the game.

–  It was raining in Hanoi FC before the match. Did the weather make a big difference to the game?

– Weather conditions have greatly affected our game.

– In your opinion, Hanoi FC is stronger than those teams that FC Altyn Asyr had to meet at the group stage?

–  It is hard to say. Every game is new. It is difficult to say which team is stronger, which is weaker. The conclusion can be drawn from the results of two meetings.

–  What impression did Hanoi FC make about the first match in the capital of Vietnam?

–  Hanoi FC controls the ball very well. Another advantage in the first game was the difficult weather conditions for us in Vietnam. It was difficult for us to move around the field in high humidity. From here there were a lot of mistakes, they did not keep up with the opponent in the episodes. It was difficult to breathe, because of this there were many mistakes.

–  Compared with the first match, is the weather in Ashgabat comfortable for football? Is it possible to expect that tomorrow FC Altyn Asyr will please the fans with an effective game?

–  Of course! We used to play here. We hope to win anyway.

–  Are you going to make any adjustments to the team’s game in the second leg, to apply new tactics?

–  Of course, we plan, there are changes in composition.

–  The head coach of Hanoi FC said that his away team will play attacking football, in their own style. How does FC Altyn Asyr prepare for this?

- First of all, we will play “zero” in defense. And we need to attack, recoup. Therefore, we plan to show attacking football. But at the same time we must not forget about protection. We will attack.

–  What happened to the FC Altyn Asyr legionnaires from Africa, whose transfer went through the AFC?

–  We did not have time to draw up the relevant documents. Let's wait and see.
