Dovletmyrat Seyitmuhammedov made his debut for the national football team of Turkmenistan

The 22-year-old midfielder of FC Kopetdag  Ashgabat Dovletmyrat Seyitmuhammedov first entered the field in a jersey of the Turkmenistan national team. He came out in the second half in a match against Uganda, in a jersey with number 12, replacing captain Arslanmyrat Amanov.

Seyitmuhammedov received his debut call to the national team of Turkmenistan in May of 2019 year, three FC Kopetdag football players for the first time in the modern history of the club were called by Croatian coach Ante Miše to the national team. The football player was born in the Babadayhan city of the Ahal Region and in recent years play for the FC Kopetdag Ashgabat.

The acting head coach of the FC Kopetdag Chary Annakov highly appreciates his players. “Dovletmyrat Seyitmuhammedov, Meilis Diniyev and goalkeeper Rakhat Japarov are among the best in our team, very skillful and decent guys”, said the Turkmen coach in an interview with Turkmenportal.

Recall that the 51-year-old Croatian specialist Ante Miše was appointed head coach of the Turkmenistan national football team in March 2019. In an interview with Turkmenportal, the national team head coach said that he would like "to have 17-year-old young footballers on the field, so that there is progress in football". Thus, the Croatian coach clearly adheres to his plan, giving a chance to young football players.
