Today at the headquarters of the Asian Football Confederation in the capital of Malaysia, the draw for the 2020 AFC U-19 Championship qualification was held. According to its results, the youth U-19 national team of Turkmenistan was in group “B”, where its teams will be Qatar, Yemen and Sri Lanka. Matches will be held from 2 to 10 November in Doha.
In total, 46 teams will compete in the qualifying tournament of the Asia-2020 Youth Championship (25 in the West and 21 in the East), divided into 10 groups.

Group “J”: Japan, Vietnam (Host), Mongolia, Guam.
Group K: Indonesia (host), North Korea, Hong Kong, East Timor.
According to the results of the qualifying round, the final stage of the Asian Youth Championship (U-19), the venue of which will be determined later, will be won through by the winners of 11 groups and 4 national teams from among the teams that finished second. Qualifying matches in groups will be held from 2 to 10 November 2019.
