Galatasaray plans to make money from coffee shop franchises across Türkiye

Turkish football club Galatasaray is preparing to enter the food service industry. The club's management has developed a project called GS Store Cafe, which envisions the creation of a chain of coffee shops across the country.

According to HT Spor, Galatasaray intends to open locations in all 81 regions of Turkey. The proposed monetization model is based on franchising: investors will be able to purchase the rights to use the brand for 50 thousand USD.

During the first phase of the project, the club expects to raise approximately 150 million USD. Subsequently, it plans to list the club's trading arm, Mağazacılık AŞ, at a valuation of 700 million USD, which, according to management, will provide the club with significant financial resources.
