Last week, the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan held trades, resulting in 53 transactions, according to the website turkmenmetbugat.gov.tm.
During exchange trading, business representatives from the UAE, Türkiye, Afghanistan, Georgia, and Uzbekistan purchased polypropylene, base oil, and gasoline produced by the Türkmennebit State Concern using foreign currency. Businessmen from Singapore purchased urea produced by the Türkmenhimiýa State Concern.
In addition, buyers from the UAE, Türkiye, and Azerbaijan purchased wheat flour, plain-dyed and jacquard terry products, terry cloth, medical cotton wool, cotton swabs, and cotton yarn. Payments were also made in foreign currencies.
The total value of export transactions exceeded 350 million 748 thousand USD.
Domestic businesses purchased polypropylene, base oil, heating oil, and packaging film from Türkmennebit Group, as well as wheat flour. Domestic transactions totaled 269,030,000 manats.
