The Mogilev Carriage Works intends to enter the Turkmen market

Representatives of the Mogilev Carriage Works are among the participants of the International Forum "Investing in the Future of Turkmenistan" (IFT 2026) in Ashgabat.

One of the leading transport engineering companies in the Republic of Belarus views Turkmenistan as a priority area for expanding cooperation, reports "Turkmenistan: Golden Age."

Andrey Kharkevich, Head of Marketing and Sales at MVZ, noted that the company, which has firmly established itself in the Russian and Kazakh markets, sees enormous potential for establishing productive partnerships in Turkmenistan.

"Our goal is to study the needs of the Turkmen market and offer solutions tailored to local logistics companies. We are planning a series of meetings with representatives of the Ministry of Railway Transport and other relevant agencies," he said.

The Mogilev plant specializes in the production of a wide range of freight rolling stock. Annual production exceeds 2 500 cars, including grain trucks, cement trucks, and mineral fertilizer trucks. As a versatile vehicle, the plant also offers gondola cars and flatcars for transporting timber and other large-size construction materials.

This year, the plant plans to launch production of boxcars.

A. Kharkevich hopes that the IFT 2026 exhibition and forum, currently taking place in Ashgabat, will be an important step for Belarusian machine builders in developing a new market.
