On the occasion of the International Holiday of Novruz, a festive exhibition entitled “When Novruz Comes” was organized at the State Museum of the State Cultural Center of Turkmenistan.
Among the honored guests at the exhibition opening were Tirkish Myatnazarov, an actor from the Magtymguly National Music and Drama Theater and People's Artist of Turkmenistan; Azat Annayev, a senior lecturer at the State Academy of Arts of Turkmenistan and Honored Artist of Turkmenistan; Oguljemal Charyeva, an Honored Cultural Worker of Turkmenistan and poetess; and others, according to the museum's website.
The exhibition features carpet panels depicting Turkmen nature in spring, and paintings by Turkmen artists such as "White Roses" by A. Dzhijilov, "Magic Patterns" by I. Gylydzhov, "Folk Art" by Sh. Akmuhamedov, "National Values" by G. Yazmuhamedova, "National Ornaments" by G. Bayramov, "Blooming Pomegranates" by N. Begnazarov, and "Dance" by G. Guseinov.
Carpets and national costumes created by artisans are also on display. A special place in the exhibition is occupied by the "White Yurt," representing the everyday life of the Turkmen people.
