The State Exchange of Turkmenistan conducted 34 transactions in one week

Last week, 34 transactions were concluded at the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan. The total volume of export contracts in foreign currency exceeded 9 million US dollars, while domestic trade turnover exceeded 229,4 million manat, the State News Agency of Turkmenistan reports.

The largest foreign buyers were businesses from the United Arab Emirates, Turkey, and Georgia, which purchased polypropylene and base oil produced by the Türkmennebit State Concern. Other exports included denim, regenerated fiber from textile waste, cotton fabric and yarn, karakul wool, and wheat flour. In addition to these three countries, Estonia and Kyrgyzstan also purchased Turkmen products.

Domestic businesses purchased petrochemical raw materials—polypropylene and base oil (Türkmennebit), as well as technical sulfur produced by Türkmengaz—on the domestic market. Products for domestic consumption included non-distilled crude fatty acids from cotton soapstock, dyed terry cloth, silk and cotton fabrics, and wheat flour.
