The President of Turkmenistan signed a decree aimed at strengthening the material and technical infrastructure of the “Turkmennebit” State Concern. The document was adopted to successfully address the challenges facing the country's oil and gas industry, the State News Agency of Turkmenistan reports.
Deputy Prime Minister Guvanch Agajanov delivered a corresponding report at a government meeting. The Deputy Prime Minister outlined a series of measures to modernize the concern and submitted a draft resolution for the head of state's consideration.
The measures adopted are aimed at ensuring the uninterrupted and efficient operation of large oil and gas fields, as well as exploratory drilling and the development of new areas.
After hearing the report, the President of Turkmenistan noted the systematic nature of the country's ongoing efforts to develop oil and gas fields and the high-quality execution of drilling operations. Signing the resolution, the head of state addressed a number of specific instructions to the Deputy Prime Minister.
According to the document, the “Turkmennebit” concern is instructed to carry out the necessary work to further expand production capacity.
