At a meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan on March 13, Deputy Prime Minister B. Seyidova reported on the progress of preparations for the festive events marking the National Spring Holiday – International Day of Novruz.

As reported, in honor of this holiday, widely celebrated across the country, a Novruz cultural and event will be held in the village of "Nowruz ýaýlasy" in the Ahal velayat.

Additionally, it is planned to organize performances by creative groups from around the country, various exhibitions, stage productions about folk traditions of agriculture, livestock farming, gardening, crafts, family celebrations, as well as festive concerts by cultural figures and artists.

In this regard, a corresponding proposal was submitted to the head of state for consideration.

President Serdar Berdimuhamedov instructed the Deputy Prime Minister to properly prepare for the events marking the National Spring Festival, ensuring their high level of execution, the State News Agency of Turkmenistan reports.
