Turkmenistan's new chemical complex will implement the "Industry 4.0" concept

As is known, the foundation stone for a mineral fertilizer production complex was laid at the S.A. Niyazov Turkmenabat Chemical Plant last year, marking a significant milestone for Turkmenistan's chemical industry.

The construction of a new complex, designed to produce 350,000 tons of superphosphate and 100 thousand tons of ammonium sulfate per year, not only expands production space but also creates a fully-fledged intellectual center. The "Industry 4.0" concept is being implemented here, which entails the digitalization of all stages of the product lifecycle. Chemical processes will be carried out using artificial intelligence technologies, minimizing human error and ensuring high precision in the composition of chemical compounds, according to the State News Agency of Turkmenistan.

With the implementation of the “Industry 4.0” concept, the plant will transform from a conventional industrial facility into a high-tech hub integrated into the global digital ecosystem. In this smart production facility, Industrial Internet technologies and Big Data analytics will enable real-time monitoring of phosphate fertilizer production, reduce raw material and energy consumption, and prevent production disruptions.

The implementation of such a large-scale project will create new jobs for graduates of the country's technical universities and provide a powerful impetus to Turkmenistan's socio-economic development.

Another unique feature of the new technology is its zero-emissions design, which utilizes a closed-loop process gas system.

In this context, the modernization of the S.A. Niyazov Turkmenabat Chemical Plant serves not only as an economic project, but also as a fulfillment of the country's environmental obligations to implement environmentally friendly and resource-saving technologies.
