The production of mineral fertilizers is a priority vector of the chemical industry in Turkmenistan

Backed by rich natural gas and mineral reserves, Turkmenistan's chemical industry is developing rapidly, becoming a high-tech industry with enormous export potential.

State policy in this area is aimed at advanced processing of raw materials and the creation of new production facilities capable of producing products in demand both domestically and globally.

The State Concern "Turkmenhimiya" and its subordinate enterprises are taking comprehensive measures to build and develop large, modern facilities, as well as modernize existing production facilities.

A priority area for modernizing the chemical industry is expanding mineral fertilizer production. By commissioning modern industrial facilities, Turkmenistan has significantly increased its production of nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium fertilizers, fully meeting the needs of the domestic agricultural sector.

The development of unique hydromineral deposits in the Caspian Sea is a key focus of the national economic industrialization program. Modern production facilities are being built here to produce iodine, bromine, and bromine products, as well as various types of salts widely used in the pharmaceutical, electronics, and other industries.

The implementation of advanced extraction and purification technologies enables the production of high-quality products, increasing their competitiveness in the global market.

The industry's development strategy places special emphasis on the gas chemical sector. Innovative enterprises being established in the country are making it possible to produce various types of polymer products from natural gas, including polyethylene and polypropylene.

In the long term, Turkmenistan's chemical industry will continue to contribute to the diversification of the national economy through innovation. Systematic professional development of employees, attracting foreign investment, and close cooperation with leading global research centers are laying a solid foundation for future success, reports the State News Agency of Turkmenistan.
