Turkish Airlines will increase flight frequency to four destinations starting March 29

Turkish Airlines, the national carrier of Türkiye, will introduce additional flights on the Istanbul-Tripoli, Istanbul-Sofia, Istanbul-Porto, and Istanbul-Lisbon routes starting March 29, 2026.

The most significant expansion will affect routes to Portugal: Lisbon will receive up to 21 flights per week, and Porto will receive 17.

The route to the Bulgarian capital, Sofia, will also increase to 21 flights per week.

Service to the Libyan capital, Tripoli, will increase to 14 flights per week.

The changes will take effect as part of the summer navigation program.

Turkish Airlines, a Star Alliance member, was founded in 1933 with a modest fleet of five aircraft. Today, its fleet comprises 519 aircraft (passenger and cargo) and flies to 356 destinations in 132 countries, including 303 international and 53 domestic.
