National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov congratulated Ayatollah Mojtaba Khamenei on his election as Supreme Leader of Iran, the State News Agency of Turkmenistan reports.

"The National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, sent heartfelt congratulations and best wishes to Ayatollah Seyyed Mojtaba Hosseini Khamenei on the occasion of his election as Supreme Leader of the Islamic Republic of Iran," the statement said.

The National Leader wished the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Republic good health, as well as great success in all his affairs and endeavors for the sake of peace and prosperity of the people of Iran.
